Connie Ogden receives the Clarkson College Distinguished Alumni Award for her lasting impact on healthcare, education and the College community.

Congratulations to Mrs. Connie Ogden, the 2026 recipient of the Clarkson College Distinguished Alumni Award.

Ogden, pictured above with her daughter, Rachel Holm, EdD, and husband, Dave, earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Clarkson College during her 27-year career with Nebraska Medicine.

“Her name is recognized by countless individuals who had the privilege of working alongside her or learning under her leadership,” says Dr. Holm, who is also our director of Community and Cultural Engagement. “Her influence was not simply the result of the positions she held, but of the way she led: with purpose, compassion, integrity and an unwavering commitment to excellence.”

Ogden has remained deeply connected to Clarkson College and understands the value Clarkson College brings to the healthcare community. She has demonstrated that commitment by serving as a Board Director for the Clarkson College Alumni Association and by providing valuable insight as a member of the advisory committee for the Clarkson College Cupboard and Closet.

“I am especially grateful that her love for Clarkson College has become part of my own professional journey,” adds Dr. Holm.
