New center aims to shape the future of healthcare innovation

The 3D Printing and Training Center at Clarkson College is entering a new and innovative partnership.

We’re joining forces with the Nebraska Center for 3D Innovation, a statewide effort designed to advance healthcare through 3D printing, research and workforce development.

As a recognized leader in the field, Clarkson College developed the nation’s first structured Medical 3D Printing and Visualization Specialist Certificate, helping prepare learners for careers in medical additive manufacturing, surgical planning, advanced visualization and patient-specific healthcare solutions.

The center’s research will advance innovative 3D-printing applications, including human-like prosthetics and assistive devices, antimicrobial materials, and AI-driven patient-specific models for surgical planning and improved patient outcomes.

We’re excited for this opportunity to bring our nationally recognized expertise in medical 3D printing education to build an innovative, talented workforce.
