Clarkson College CEO Shares Leadership Journey and Vision on Local Podcast

Dr. Andreia Nebel, President and CEO of Clarkson College, was recently interviewed by KAT 103's radio host Gina Melton. The interview is featured on their podcast highlighting leaders making an impact in healthcare and education, "CEOs You Should Know." 

During the interview, Dr. Nebel reflected on her unique path to higher education leadership—from becoming the first healthcare professional in her family to serving in multiple clinical, teaching, and executive roles over the past 23 years. She shared how the Clarkson College mission of preparing students to deliver high-quality, ethical, and compassionate healthcare continues to guide the institution’s work today.

Dr. Nebel emphasized the long-standing commitment of Clarkson College to innovation, service, and workforce readiness. And pointed to milestones such as being Nebraska’s first nursing program, the state’s largest hospital-affiliated college, and home to the region’s first 3D Printing and Training Center of Excellence. She also discussed current initiatives focused on enrollment growth, expanded scholarships, community partnerships, and major campus improvements set to be completed in 2026.

When asked what she values most, Dr. Nebel highlighted the Clarkson College community. “The work we get to do every day is a privilege,” she said, noting that interacting with students and colleagues remains the best part of her day.
