Professional Development Earns Award

The Clarkson College Professional Development program has received the 2025 American Heart Association All-Star Award - one of only 350 Training Centers in the country to meet the award's requirements. This distinction demonstrates an exceptional performance in delivering CPR and emergency cardiovascular care education. Clarkson College consistently meets or exceeds national standards for high-quality CPR training, adherence to Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) guidelines, and strong program performance metrics. The All-Star designation honors excellence in training quality, program compliance, and overall impact in preparing individuals to respond confidently during cardiac emergencies.

“We are honored by this designation,” shared Brooke Browne, MSN, RN, CNRN, Director of Professional Development. “This recognition reflects the dedication and excellence of our entire Training Center team, whose commitment to high‑quality lifesaving education empowers learners, improves readiness, and makes a positive impact on healthcare in Omaha and beyond.”

Working closely with local health providers to engage their employees, Clarkson College offers training to businesses, organizations, and high school students. By serving over 6,800 community learners annually, Clarkson College Professional Development elevates the standard of lifesaving education in our community.
