2023 Distinguished Alumni Award Winners

Congratulations to our 2023 Distinguished Alumni Award winners, Caleb Poore and Luke Poore!

Awards were presented at the Alumni Dinner on Friday, September 29th. This award recognizes the extraordinary support of an individual who has had a significant impact on Clarkson College or the health care community in which he/she resides.

Caleb's journey started with graduating from the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at Clarkson College in 2011. He quickly gained trust and respect as a PTA and became the Director of Rehabilitation for his organization. Under his leadership, the facility received the Operational Excellence Award from Genesis Rehab Services, a nationwide company. Eager to learn and grow, Caleb pursued both a bachelor's and master's degree in healthcare administration. Now, Caleb is proud to announce his new role as the Chief Executive Officer at Boone County Health Center, a 25-bed facility.

Luke is a two-time graduate of Clarkson College receiving his Physical Therapist Assistant degree in 2010 and his master's degree in healthcare administration in 2016. He has leveraged his education to become an executive healthcare leader. Luke currently serves as CEO of Kearney County Health Services in Minden, Nebraska, where he has served for seven years. In his leadership role, Luke emphasizes the importance of community collaboration, bringing together various healthcare stakeholders, including nursing homes, public health departments, local pharmacies, home health services, and more, to provide comprehensive rural healthcare.
