Clarkson College has not always been a college. Instead, we began in 1888 as a school of nursing—the first in the state of Nebraska. Over the last 125 years, we've established a new campus, expanded our program offerings and adopted a new name. All the while, we've maintained a commitment to preparing our students to be the best in various realms of health care. Health Information Management Program Earns Re-Accreditation

17 December 2020

In December 2020, the Clarkson College Health Information Management program earned re-accreditation for their Associate of Science in Health Information Technology and Bachelor of Science in Health Information Administration from the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM).

These programs received seven years re-accreditation, which is the maximum timeframe for reaccreditation through CAHIIM. The non-profit organization works with more than 350 accredited programs in 46 states and Puerto Rico. Earning accreditation ensures that the program offers students a quality education and prepares them with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed professionally.
